an article about animals


The animal in this photo is a polar bear, polar bears eat seals and they can swim more than 150 kilometres. It’s a big animal and the adults weight about 750 kilos.

Polar bears live in the Artic, Canada, Russia, Greenland and Norway. They eat fish. Females have two cubs every four or five years.

The Artic ice is getting smaller because the climate is changing, it’s a problem for the polar bears. Pollution is also a problem, especially the oil. Humans hunt polar bears and take them to the
